Patient notice

We would like to reassure patients that staff at our practices are continuing to work extremely hard and are doing their best to make sure patients are safe.

Social Distancing Sign

Over the last 18 months our practices have been supporting the pandemic response and ensuring our patients are able to get their COVID-19 vaccinations, at the same time as continuing to deliver primary care services.

We’re aware patients may have experienced longer wait times on the phone or for their appointment, but we have been working hard to ensure you receive the right treatment from the right person at the right time.

In line with current guidance and to ensure that our practices continue to operate within social distancing guidelines we offer telephone triage initially. If you are assessed as having an urgent clinical need you will be offered a face-to-face consultation with our team, which comprises GPs, nurse practitioners, a paramedic and health care assistants. We are also welcoming two new GPs to our team and are recruiting more administrative staff, although it inevitably takes time to recruit and train new staff members so we respectfully ask patients to bear that in mind.

Cedar House has a limited amount of appointments with our health care assistants between 8.00am and 11am, after this time the appointments at Cedar House are for patients who potentially have Covid symptoms, which means that Eaton Socon appointments are reserved for those patients not considered a Covid-risk. The use of different sites allows us to continue seeing patients while safeguarding the health of patients and staff.

Whether your appointment is over the telephone or face-to-face, patients will always receive the same high quality standard of care from our practice team.

So please, if you contact our practice, be kind.

Thank you for your patience and support.
