Access

Disabled Access

There is access for disabled patients via the ramp at the front of the premises. Please ring the doorbell which is placed at wheelchair height at the front of the surgery if assistance to enter the building is required. A disabled WC is available to the left of the reception area. The practice has a portable induction loop available at reception.

Our aim is to enable all our patients to use the services at our sites as easily as possible.

All clinical services in our building are offered on the ground floor with easy access to rooms.  

There are parking spaces outside the surgery which are reserved for patients (identified by a disabled sign).

There is a wheelchair available for use in the surgery

We have disabled toilet facilities.

Parking

The practice regrets that there is no patient parking at the main Cedar House Surgery site.

The nearest public car park to the surgery is in Tebbutts Road. There is a ‘drop off’ point in East Street for the surgery. However, this should NOT be used for longer term parking, as this causes an obstruction to our neighbours.

Please be aware that the parking area to the side of Cedar House Surgery is for doctors and practice staff only. It is particularly important that the entrance to our car park is not obstructed so the doctor-on-call is not delayed on emergency visits.

Dumbelton Medical Centre

There is limited patient parking at the Dumbelton Medical Centre, with a designated disabled parking space. However, there is a large supermarket car park adjacent to the branch surgery.
