Free Mindfulness course for Over 65s in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough

A mindfulness course is being delivered free of charge for people aged 65 and over who live in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

The mindfulness for later life programme is delivered by a chartered clinical psychologist and is fully online, delivered via Zoom, with support for people who have technological difficulties accessing the course.

The programme has been proven to deliver successful outcomes for people with both mental and physical health difficulties (particularly chronic pain, fibromyalgia and CFS). It is delivered over six consecutive weeks, with an optional four weeks where participants are supported to set up their own peer led mindfulness group to continue indefinitely.

The course is open access but is limited to 15 participants. Participants need to be able to commit to attend all sessions and complete a daily home practice during the course, which starts in September.
