Launch of Integrated Care Neighbourhood in St Neots
Healthcare professionals, including Dr Claire Murphy, Clinical Director of the South Peterborough Primary Care Network, joined with regional and local organisations for the launch of the St Neots Integrated Neighbourhood, with the aim of working together to improve community wellbeing.
There were around 50 delegates at the launch event including include charities, voluntary sector, faith groups, public health, social and health services plus community groups, who are committed to working together to build networks and services to cater for the needs of all the local population.
The key vision of North Care Partnership is ‘to support people to stay well, be independent and live happier and healthier, ensuring every person matters and every contact counts.’
The priorities were to achieve better health outcomes for everyone, to create a sustainable workforce and to develop and deliver a sustainable and integrated care system across the partnership.
Dr Murphy said: ‘This is a great opportunity for us all to meet, establish contacts and really look at ways of working together cohesively to join up services and expertise where we can. It was a really positive launch event and hopefully will be just the start of a really positive initiative that will benefit our patients and community.’
