New online platform is now live

It offers a range of benefits for our patients and allows them to consult our clinical team, access healthcare advice and see information on a personalised data dashboard.

It offers a ‘streamlined' service and patients will be directed to the most appropriate healthcare professional for their need.

Doctrin on a tablet

Hub Manager, Sarah Parren, who oversees Cedar House Surgery and Eaton Socon Health Centre, said: ‘As a team we are constantly looking at ways to update and improve the services we offer patients and Doctrin is a great example of this. It has been designed to be user friendly, informative and a quick and easy way to get in touch. We are encouraging all patients who are confident with technology to register with the NHS app as they will need those log-in details to access Doctrin. More information about Doctrin and how to use it are available on our website. I'd like to reassure patients that if they are not confident with technology they can still get in touch by telephoning our surgeries as normal.'

Lakeside is the first Partnership of GP practices to roll out the Swedish-developed platform, which is widely used in the Nordic region. Since launching at two of our sister practices more than 1,000 patients have used it. UK feedback has been hugely positive with an average of nearly 92% of respondents saying they would recommend Doctrin.
